On Monday 30 May 2016, the Water Experiment Centre Twente (WECTwente) was officially opened. WECTwente is a covered experimental location on the site of the WWTP Glanerbrug. Innovative water treatment installations and new technologies can be tested continuously with water from different purification stages of the WWTP.
WECTwente is a joint initiative of Water Board Vechtstromen, RWB, Pentair X-Flow, Jotem Water Treatment and Saxion.
Fokko Borre (Director of Technology) represented RWB at the official opening.
